24 ذو الحجة This is MeHow do?!
Well. Things have changed a little since last entry.
On my second house - love it. Beautiful flat in Hudds centre.
No longer working door-to-door. Now I have the fantastical job as call centre agent for British Gas.
Moving on..........
So decided to stick it out in the uk. Get to see my bubba lots which is cool.
But.
The feet they are a-itching. Where to next? I dunno. somewhere with water i reckon. So maybe barnsley metrodome or summat.
for the mo, i'm ok here. But nothing interesting ever happens.
Is this life?
*severe sense of existentialism*
25 جمادى الثانية The Story So FarBubbleland. Day 257.
So. This is the UK is it?
i think i peaked too early.
Been here for approx 7 months now, and in place of the life i used to have (£000's disposable income, freedom to come and go as i please, living in a beautiful country and a beautiful city) i now have a grand total of 2 credit cards; approx £3000 of debt - not including the student loan - i live in Todmorden, which, despite being lovely in this weather, unfortunately doesn't swing it for me - especially when the drains fail and my kitchen ends up with a foot and a half of water in it. Also, get to meet scallies every day working from Manchester city centre. The best was where i was coming home from work and some lads knocked out this guy outside Burger King, the police came when we noticed a 'firearm' tucked in his jeans.
Turned out to be plastic.
Sooo ghetto.
I also have a county court summoms because of my refusal to pay council tax. I haven't even got a bin yet... so why should I? hopefully some rich anonymous benefactor will bail me ouit of prison like with that old granny.
And my job.
Wow. My job is the most amazing part.
I'm an entrepreneur.
Self-employed.
Independent.
My Own Boss.
On the Ladder to a Million.
To be fair (if you didn't get splashed by my sarcasm) it is brilliant. I just doubt i can do it. The words my boss does not want to hear me say. (I know - self employed with a boss - one reason why i am questioning my career) apparently i have a sparkling future in front of me. If only i could believe.
To tell you the truth, i don't care if we will be representing the NSPCC... i'm sick of knocking on people's doors and interrupting dinner. I'm sick of people looking at me like i'm begging. I'm sick of people thinking i could be fraudulent. I'm fed up of it. Yes, i know the truth that i'm none of the above, but it's just dull now.
So, the question remains...
Will I stick out the challenge of living in england, or run away, as i usually do? 12 ذو القعدة Moving Day!!!ARGHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Just had the phone call I have been anticipating for a loooooong time.
I, Stacy Mellor, Have A House.
Stacy Mellor, House-Haver (well, can't say owner!)
Dead chuffed. What may seem a trivial thing to all those already residing in their own property is a giant leap for me.
I have been craving this for a very long time...
After living on a boat, sharing chalets and kipping on friends sofas, I finally have a little piece of the world to call mine.
And I'm petrified!!!! Ha.
10 ذو القعدة BubbalandWell guys and gals.
Have FINALLY found meself a talent. Looks like i'm quite the illustrator.
One comment about Fritha's big head spawned the idea of the big head cabaret (tickets coming to a box office near you soon)
So myself and BB decided to put our life together into pictures. The results are quite amusing, i think you'll agree.
So sit back, relax, and enjoy, as we transport you into The Bubba Zone....
Stay tuned for more escapades! LET'S ROCK!!!!!!!!How on earth are you all doing?!
I have recently returned from the land of Ice, Snow and fresh Alpine air, Meribel.
Was fantastic.
The required break after all the house searching and hobo mincing round England.
Stayed with Jo & Bails, the perfect hosts.
The real reason for my week long visit was the Bails' Birthday - always a good affair.Jo had organised a surprise Rock Night down at Dicks Tea Bar for the rocker himself... we were surprised he didn't catch on.
He and Nick returned from the Rond Point at around 9pm, to find myself and Jo fully kitted out Rock Whore Stylee, and he thought we were a little OTT. But, bless him, he never said that he would be embarrassed to go to town with us.
We reached La Taverne, where there were publicities announcing rock night there. Still no word of the festivities which awaited him down at Dicks'. So Jo and I still looked stupid. Took us about an hour to pluck up the courage to take our jumpers off.
When we did arrive down at the epicentre of all Meribel Debauchery, he saw all the staff were fully attired in rock chic. And, the piece de resistance - Eeks behind the DJ booth, rockin it for all it was worth.
The smile which appeared on Mr Baileys face didn't budge the whole 4 hours.
And neither did we from the dance floor! I actually woke up with a really bad neck the next day, and realised maybe I'd thrashed a little too much.
So all in all, a good night's work. 28 شوال My apologiesHello everyone.
I would like to extend my deepest regrets at the CRAPNESS of my space. For reasons lost to me, and, I suppose, everyone trying to customise today, I cannot update my site and make it all pretty and cool and nice, as seems to be the status quo these days. Oh, I feel so square.
But I think I'll live. Pinball ChallengeWell. It has been an exciting week so far in The Bubba Zone.
The Pinball Challenge has proven to be a source of existentialism for myself and bubba.
First I topped the leaderboard with a previously unreached [by us] score of 3m, but, just as I settled into the comfort zone, she got up early and smashed the score.
However, patient reader, our story does not end here. After around 867 goes, I manged to beat her by a meagre 600,000.
Screw you!!!!!!
To Be Continued.......
Thank you for visiting The Bubba Zone
x limbolandHowdy ho peeps.
So i finally bothered to sort mesen out one of these oojits.
Very exciting.
I have just returned to the UK in search of normality and a different way of life.
That of course begins with a househunt.
I have found one in the lovely town of Todmorden, so I will be leaving Huddersfield for a life on the outskirts of the motherland of Yorkshire, and I can't wait.
Petrified at the same time tho!
Hope you like our track of the 'slightly sharp sisters', recorded late last night in a stoned stupor! Hopefully more tracks will be appearing over time. we'll see! Strange to get the old singing pipes out again after 3years of hibernation! They're a bit dusty, but all improves with time!
